1. What Yapzy is

Yapzy is a Chrome extension that generates AI-powered replies for social media platforms (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram). You provide your own API key from an AI provider, and Yapzy uses it to generate replies on your behalf.

2. Your API key

Yapzy requires an API key from a supported AI provider (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). You are responsible for your own API key, its usage, and any costs from your AI provider. Yapzy stores your key locally in your browser and sends it directly to your chosen provider. We never see or store your key on any server.

3. Free and Pro tiers

Yapzy offers 50 free replies. After that, you can purchase a Pro license for unlimited replies. Pro licenses are managed through Polar.sh. Refund policies are handled by Polar.sh according to their terms.

4. Generated content

You are responsible for any content you post using Yapzy. AI-generated replies are suggestions — you should review them before posting. Yapzy is not responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness, or consequences of any content generated by the AI or posted by you.

5. Platform compliance

You agree to use Yapzy in compliance with the terms of service of any social media platform you use it on. Yapzy is a productivity tool — it is not intended for spam, harassment, or any form of abuse.

6. No warranty

Yapzy is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with every website, browser, or browser update. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or inappropriate material.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yapzy, its creators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the extension, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability (whether in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

This includes, without limitation, damages arising from: AI-generated content that is inaccurate, offensive, or otherwise harmful; actions taken by social media platforms against your account; unauthorized access to or loss of your API keys; any costs incurred from third-party AI providers; interruptions or changes to the extension; or any third-party claims related to content you post using the extension.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid for the extension (if any).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yapzy, its creators, contributors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: your use of the extension; content you generate or post using the extension; your violation of these terms; your violation of any third-party rights or any applicable law; or your API key usage and any associated costs.

9. Third-party services

Yapzy integrates with third-party AI providers and payment services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not liable for any charges, data handling, or actions by these third parties.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to Yapzy at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these terms cease immediately.

11. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Yapzy after changes constitutes acceptance. For questions, contact support@yapzy.com.
